Catkin 1920s Bride

Catkin 1920s Bride

Weddings in the 1920s were perhaps more inventive than we might first think .. Traditionally the bride always wore white but one society bride broke away from tradition and wore Peacock Blue. Her dress was still styled in the traditional manner and had a glorious train of silver lined with Blue ninon and she used Silver leaves to hold her veil of Blue Tulle.

In this Catkin 1920s Bride design, the bride is wearing one of the more fashionable mobcap and veils from that era. Being delicately draped over her shoulder by her attendant, she looks the picture of happiness.
Stitched in Black, Grey, Red and Gold filament
